Sgt. Ron Helus Training Facility Sticker
In response to the 2018 Thousand Oaks shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill that tragically claimed 12 lives, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation is embarking on a historic project to fund and construct a new tactical, live fire training facility. This facility will be named in honor of Sgt. Ron Helus who was killed while protecting those in harms way.
The goal of the Sgt. Ron Helus Training Facility is to provide the tools our Sheriff’s Deputies needs to properly train and prepare for modern day threats. The highlight of the facility will be a two story live fire ballistic structure that deputies and cooperating agencies can train in anytime time of day, any day of the year. The design and construction of the structure allows those training to become familiar with the stresses of maneuvering, coordinating, and securing a location under the live fire conditions.
In our efforts to raise the funding, we are offering these commemorative “Sgt. Ron Helus Training Facility” sticker for a $10 donation.
